Why is it awesome? This book is a collection of lessons that the author learned along his journey as creating a multi-million dollar business, and then ultimately selling it and donating the entire $22 million to charity. Through his experiences, he shares lessons he learned about finding life purpose and meaning, and focusing his goals on pursuits that contribute to others.

Early into my second year of residency I began to get curious and questioning why I want some of the things that I want. Do certain things in life seem more appealing just because other people want them?

I think this page can be related to finding our niche within Emergency Medicine. Emergency Medicine is such a broad specialty, and in my opinion I believe there are so many ways for one to contribute to it.

Interested in EMS? Go chase it. The more you experience, more clear to You’ll have with your direction with your career.

Interested in education? Go chase it. Find others who have similar interests and connect with them.

Interested in wellness? Go chase it. There are so many books out there in the world and wellness, happiness, and life meeting. You could be the one to discover something special and bring it to our specialty.

Life isn’t about money. It’s about discovering what makes us feel alive, and using that to contribute to those around us.
